Apply interfacing Tutorials

applying iron on interfacing

Iron-On Interfacing is easy to apply, but if done incorrectly will result in bubbled fabric. Watch this video tutorial for the how-to on applying it!

You’ll find iron-on interfacing being used in a few of our patterns like the Tui Pinafore and the Mānuka Skirt.

You may also like to include it behind any buttons or button-holes that you create on any garment or pattern for extra stability.

When applied correctly it provides reinforcing and structure for a garment. However, if not applied correctly can result in the fabric bubbling and melting!

Watch this short tutorial video on how to apply iron on interfacing and let me know if it improved your application in our VIP Community!

Love and happy sewing,
Sophie x
